PATHWAY

Pathways to Good Mental Health Through Personalized Follow-up of Autistic Males and Females from Childhood to Adulthood

The PATHWAY aims to tackle the increased risk of mental disorders and suicidality among autistic individuals by creating an autism-specific mental health framework.

About the project

The project is organized into three work packages (WPs):

  • In WP1 we will map the landscape and developmental pathways for mental disorders specific to autism, providing a comprehensive understanding of these challenges.
  • In WP2 we will identify autistic individuals at higher risk for mental disorders by examining risk factors and forming data-driven subgroups with distinct mental health profiles.
  • In WP3 we will develop a prognostic tool for long-term mental health outcomes, enabling early and targeted clinical interventions.
