Child and Adolescent Mental Health
We seek to ensure that young people with mental health problems receive effective, appropriate and timely treatment. We study the effects of treatment interventions, the characteristics of those who benefit from these interventions, and how we can enhance our understanding of mental disorders in young people.
Our goal is to improve the treatment options for children and young people with mental disorders, and make mental health care more accessible and flexible. We focus on common mental health conditions such as anxiety disorders, depression, and obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD). Additionally, we are exploring the potential of using new technologies, such as internett-based treatment.
We collaborate closely with the department of child and adolescent mental health services (BUP) at Ahus.
