Ortopedisk forskningsavdeling
Forskningsgruppens overordnede mål er å drive klinikknær forskning med høy internasjonal kvalitet. Gruppen ønsker å fremme klinisk forskning som kan generere ny kunnskap med potensiale for klinisk anvendelse slik at pasienter får best mulig behandling.
Ortopedisk forskningsgruppe har et engasjert forskningsmiljø med over 30 pågående forskningsprosjekt som fokuserer på vanlige skader og lidelser hos pasientene som blir behandlet ved Ortopedisk klinikk. Vi er opptatt av å drive forskning som kontinuerlig forbedrer pasientbehandlingen.
Forskningsprosjektene fokuserer på grunnleggende mekanismer for brudd- og senetilheling, spesielt ved ankel, kne og håndleddsskader samt lårhalsbrudd, som utgjør en stor andel av den ortopediske pasientgruppen. Våre tre satsningsområder er operativ sportsmedisin, «den eldre pasienten» og klinisk effektforskning.
