Helsetjenesteforskning (HØKH)

Helsetjenesteforskning er et bredt sammensatt forskningsfelt. Problemstillingene vi forsker på handler om pasientbehandling i spesialisthelsetjenesten og pasientforløp mellom sykehus og kommune, og vi er spesielt opptatt av helsetjenestetilbudet til pasienter med store og sammensatte behov.

Stikkordsmessig er studiene våre innenfor følgende områder: ressursanvendelse og rammevilkår, pasientforløp og samhandling, beslutningsfatning, kvalitet, pasientsikkerhet og brukermedvirkning. 
 
De fleste problemstillingene vi jobber med krever tverrfaglig innsats. Prosjektene spenner fra store registerstudier til studier hvor data samles i klinikken, og studier basert på intervjuer og fokusgrupper.
 
HØKH har siden 2013 vært koordinator for et nasjonalt nettverk i helsetjenesteforskning
 
Vi har et brukerpanel som vi møter tre ganger i året. Brukerpanelet involveres i ulike faser av forskningsprosessen, alt fra diskusjoner om pasientutvalg og etiske spørsmål, til utprøving av spørreskjemaer, og til diskusjon og tolkning av resultater. Kunnskapsoverføring til praksis og politikk er sentralt i helsetjenesteforskning, og vi involverer derfor brukerpanelet i diskusjoner om kunnskapsdeling og spredning av resultater.
 
Årlig publiserer vi mer enn 80 artikler og fullfører mellom en og fire doktorgrader. De senere årene har vi mottatt nærmere 100 millioner kroner i eksterne forskningsmidler, og mer enn 50 prosent av forskningen er finansiert ved hjelp av eksterne midler.
